Key outcomes
- Lead the development of new features for the FARFETCH Android application while driving our long-term mobile strategy.
- Collaborate across teams to build and maintain common libraries that enhance product quality.
- Champion best practices in Android development and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Maintain a strong commitment to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment to ensure efficient release cycles.
- Partner with product development teams to refine release consistency and timing.
- Design and implement robust architectural solutions that address the complexities of a high-scale mobile application.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Android development.
- Advanced proficiency in Kotlin, with additional experience in Java considered a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of REST API architecture and the integration between client-side applications and backend stacks.
- Deep interest in technical performance, including memory management, UI rendering, and network optimization.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
