Key outcomes

• Lead the development of new features for the FARFETCH Android application while driving our long-term mobile strategy.
• Collaborate across teams to build and maintain common libraries that enhance product quality.
• Champion best practices in Android development and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Maintain a strong commitment to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment to ensure efficient release cycles.
• Partner with product development teams to refine release consistency and timing.
• Design and implement robust architectural solutions that address the complexities of a high-scale mobile application.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Android development.
• Advanced proficiency in Kotlin, with additional experience in Java considered a significant advantage.
• Strong understanding of REST API architecture and the integration between client-side applications and backend stacks.
• Deep interest in technical performance, including memory management, UI rendering, and network optimization.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
