Android SDK Engineer at Stream

We are looking for a skilled Senior Android SDK Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of our Feeds, Chat, and Video APIs. What you'll be doing

• Design and maintain open-source libraries that allow other developers to seamlessly integrate our APIs into their own mobile applications.
• Establish best practices for creating reusable components using Jetpack Compose to ensure our tools are efficient and easy to use.
• Focus on software design, research, and coding while maintaining a high standard for stability, performance, and documentation.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should have a deep understanding of the Android ecosystem and a commitment to writing clean, testable code. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Android development.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with Kotlin.
• Strong proficiency with reactive systems, specifically Jetpack Compose.
• Experience working with WebRTC and Android SDK development.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• A keen eye for user experience and a passion for automated testing to ensure product quality.
