About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Android SDK Engineer to join us in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will focus on the development and maintenance of our Android SDKs, specifically working with Jetpack Compose to create reusable, high-performance components. You will be an integral part of our engineering team, ensuring that our tools remain the top choice for developers building messaging and activity feed features.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain open-source libraries that allow developers to seamlessly integrate our APIs into their mobile applications.
- Establish and implement best practices for building reusable components using Jetpack Compose.
- Prioritize code quality, stability, and performance to ensure our SDKs provide a world-class experience for the millions of users interacting with our clients' apps.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Android development.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Kotlin.
- Strong proficiency with reactive systems, specifically Jetpack Compose, or related experience with frameworks like Flutter, SwiftUI, or React Native.
- A commitment to writing pragmatic, automated tests to maintain high software quality.
- A keen eye for user experience and visual design details.
- Prior experience working on SDK development is considered a significant plus.
Location
This position is available remotely, with the flexibility to work from anywhere.
