What you bring

As a Mid-Level Android Mobile Engineer, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our mobile ecosystem. This is a full-time position that operates on a hybrid basis, with team members located in Colombia and Mexico. You will be working with a tech stack that includes Java, Kotlin, Android Studio, and Android SDK, alongside hybrid frameworks like Ionic and React Native. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with fellow engineers to build, enhance, and maintain our Android application.
• Collaborating with product and design teams to refine requirements and implement new features.
• Managing and improving our mobile CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient delivery.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is passionate about writing clean, high-quality code and possesses a strong foundation in computer science. You should be comfortable working with data structures, algorithms, and common network protocols like HTTP and WebSocket. We value candidates who can navigate ambiguous requirements and balance shifting priorities with ease. Ideally, you have at least three years of experience in Android development, with a preference for those who have worked on large-scale applications serving millions of users. Proficiency in English is required to collaborate effectively within our team, and you should be adept at performance optimization and refactoring to keep our apps running smoothly.
