The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our live-streaming squad. This is a high-visibility role where you will play a central part in building and maintaining features that millions of users rely on daily. Because live streaming is one of our most important product offerings, you will be working in a fast-paced environment alongside a passionate team of engineers. Your expertise will directly influence how our community connects, making this an ideal role for someone who thrives on solving complex problems at scale.

A day in the life

• Architect, build, and iterate on major components and new product features for our Android applications using modern tools like Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Collaborate closely with our product and design teams to implement AB tests and leverage data-driven insights to refine the user experience.
• Proactively diagnose performance issues, optimize our codebase, and share your technical expertise to help the team maintain high standards of quality.

Who you are

You are a seasoned developer who is passionate about creating high-quality mobile experiences. You communicate effectively in English and bring the following background to our team:

• At least 4 years of experience building and shipping complex Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Proven experience in developing mobile applications with React Native.
• A deep understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, multithreading, and networking.
• Strong familiarity with consuming REST APIs and optimizing apps for performance.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities while writing clean, testable, and maintainable code.
