We are currently looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our team and help us deliver a world-class experience to our global community.

Key outcomes

• Develop and implement new features to ensure our application remains a market leader.
• Solve complex technical challenges involving asynchronicity, data flows, and system performance.
• Create a robust, responsive, and engaging user experience for both our driver and rider platforms.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Research, Data Science, and Backend teams.
• Execute rigorous testing and troubleshooting to maintain high application quality.
• Support the ongoing maintenance of our mobile ecosystem and assist in the deployment of new updates.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and experience with reactive technologies such as RxKotlin.
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.
• Experience working with Git and interacting with REST APIs.
• Proven ability to write comprehensive unit and UI tests.
• A track record of having previously published an application to the Google Play Store.
• The ability to thrive and adapt within a fast-paced, startup-oriented environment.
• Strong alignment with our company principles.

Preferred qualifications

• Direct experience working within our specific clean architecture implementation.

Compensation
