The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join our Travel and Aviation team. In this role, you will be at the heart of our mobile strategy, designing and building the next generation of products that allow our members to navigate the world with ease. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to ensure our applications remain secure and private while delivering a top-tier user experience. This is a unique chance to influence how millions of people interact with our platform every day.

A day in the life

• You will write high-quality code across our mobile stack, focusing on building delightful user experiences while maintaining rigorous standards for testing, architecture, and documentation.
• You will partner with product managers and designers to brainstorm innovative solutions to complex technical challenges and translate requirements into functional features.
• You will take ownership of your projects by contributing to architectural decisions and continuously refining our development processes to ensure we are always improving.

Who you are

You are a seasoned professional with at least three years of software development experience, specifically within the mobile space. You thrive in agile environments and are comfortable navigating ambiguity to get things done. You possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in the Android ecosystem, including Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with development tools such as GitHub and Jenkins, as well as managing deployments to the Play Store.
• A talent for explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical teammates.
• A collaborative spirit and a deep curiosity that drives you to keep learning and growing as an engineer.
• Fluency in English to facilitate clear communication across our teams.
