As a Senior Android Engineer, you will play a vital role in our engineering team, building the technology that connects artists with fans and helps them make data-driven decisions through our diverse portfolio of world-renowned labels and services.

Responsibilities

Define the technical vision and drive innovation for key systems within your area of ownership.
Author comprehensive technical design documents and write clean, optimized, and reusable Kotlin code.
Ensure high standards of quality through test automation, robust test coverage, data instrumentation, and A/B testing.
Manage software updates, patches, and bug fixes to maintain application performance.
Mentor junior mobile engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning.
Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and music industry stakeholders to deliver seamless and innovative applications.
Stay at the forefront of the industry by presenting the latest advancements in Android development to the team.

Must-haves

At least 4 years of experience building high-performing, lightweight Android applications.
In-depth expertise in Kotlin, including experience with animation frameworks and crafting sophisticated UI.
Strong grasp of Google’s design principles and interface guidelines.
Proven ability to integrate RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications with back-end services.
Experience writing maintainable code, conducting high-quality code reviews, and making sound design trade-offs.
Ability to translate high-level problem descriptions into functional features and complex technical designs.
Strong communication skills and an empathetic approach to teamwork.
An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Fluency in English.
