We have developed a comprehensive platform that combines diagnostics, medication, supplements, and digital health programs with professional doctor consultations. We are now looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our remote team and help us build the next generation of digital health tools.
Key outcomes
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android features using Kotlin and modern development tools.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and marketing teams to create user-centric solutions from initial concept through to final release.
- Participate in architectural discussions, conduct thorough code reviews, and help establish and maintain engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and improve the overall capabilities of our engineering department.
- Drive technical innovation by proactively suggesting new tools, methodologies, and approaches to improve both product quality and team efficiency.
Requirements
- A deep passion for building high-quality mobile experiences that make a tangible difference in people's lives.
- Advanced proficiency in Kotlin and a comprehensive understanding of the Android SDK, architecture components, and modern libraries.
- A collaborative mindset with a proven ability to work closely with design teams to build intuitive user interfaces.
- Demonstrated experience taking Android applications from the initial idea phase through to successful deployment on the Play Store.
- Experience working within agile environments, paired with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Excellent attention to detail regarding both clean code architecture and the final user experience.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Practical experience working with Jetpack Compose.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, or mobile performance optimization techniques.
- Previous experience working in a health tech or other highly regulated industry.
