About the Role
We are looking for a Mid-Level Android Engineer to join us in a Full Time capacity. In this position, you will work alongside a native scrum team to build innovative features and maintain our Android applications. You will collaborate closely with your immediate team and other developers to ensure our systems remain consistent while delivering an excellent user experience. We are looking for someone who is proactive and eager to grow alongside us.
Key Responsibilities
- Take an active role in the development of assigned projects and create new functionalities based on user stories.
- Monitor and document your progress using JIRA while participating in all Scrum-based team meetings.
- Ensure high code quality by conducting reviews for pull requests and resolving issues found in production systems.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical background and a commitment to quality. We require the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of commercial experience working as an Android Engineer.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience building complex, modular Android App Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of MVVM or MVI design patterns.
- Experience with Ktor, Coroutines, and Flow.
- A proven ability to integrate applications with back-end services using RESTful APIs.
- A minimum B2 level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Preferred: Familiarity with unit testing, web sockets, and Figma.
Location
This position is fully Remote and can be performed from anywhere.
