About the Role

We are looking for a talented Android Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this mid-level role, you will be instrumental in building and refining our mobile applications. You will work alongside a collaborative, cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create high-quality, seamless mobile experiences that make a real difference in our users' lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform while ensuring the codebase remains robust and maintainable.
• Collaborate with our UX and UI designers to transform wireframes and prototypes into intuitive, polished mobile interfaces.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure our applications remain fast, efficient, and smooth for all users.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in Android development, supported by a strong portfolio of published applications.
• Deep proficiency in Kotlin and a solid grasp of Android development principles and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and version control systems.
• Proven ability to integrate RESTful APIs and manage data from various backend sources.
• A commitment to writing clean code, conducting thorough code reviews, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.

Location

This position is based in Egypt and requires an on-site presence.
