We are ether.fi, a fast-growing Ethereum liquid staking protocol that empowers stakeholders to keep control of their assets. In just one year, we have built a thriving community and reached a total value locked of over $6 billion. Our mission is ambitious, as we aim to help onboard the next billion users to the world of crypto. We are currently looking for a talented engineer to join our team and help us build the future of decentralized finance.
What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in Dubai, UAE. While you can begin working with us immediately, we do require you to relocate to Dubai within one to two months, and we are happy to provide visa sponsorship to support your move. You will be a key contributor to our mobile strategy, focusing on building high-performance applications that bridge the gap between mobile users and the Ethereum blockchain.
What will you do?
- Design and build responsive, high-quality Android applications using Kotlin, the Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose.
- Collaborate with our product and design teams to translate Figma designs into seamless user experiences, while working alongside blockchain developers to integrate GraphQL for efficient data querying.
- Maintain high standards for our mobile products by implementing robust Unit and UI testing and managing a reliable CI/CD pipeline for smooth production releases.
What makes you a great fit?
You should have a strong background in Android development, with at least three years of professional experience. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with modern tools and has a genuine interest in the blockchain space. Key requirements include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Deep proficiency in Kotlin, Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience working with backends and databases, with GraphQL knowledge being a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with Git, automated testing, and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the communication skills needed to explain technical concepts clearly.
- A passion for the Ethereum ecosystem and experience with web3 technologies is a major plus.
- Fluency in English.
What's in it for you?
We offer a collaborative and inclusive environment where you will work with cutting-edge technology alongside a brilliant team. Our benefits package includes:
- Equity compensation to ensure you share in our success.
- Dental and vision insurance plans.
- Paid time off to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance.
- The unique option to receive a portion of your salary in ETH.
- Regular company events and team-building off-sites.
