GameChanger is a remote-first technology company dedicated to supporting the youth sports community by building innovative tools that help families and coaches capture meaningful moments. We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our Stats and Insights team and help us scale our mobile platform to better serve the next generation of athletes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality features for our native Android application.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to architect robust, user-friendly solutions.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while adhering to industry best practices.
- Participate in technical decision-making processes and contribute to team-wide engineering standards.
- Engage in code and design reviews to foster a culture of shared learning and continuous improvement.
- Work across the stack to support our broader product goals.
Must-haves
- Extensive experience in Android development with a track record of shipping successful products.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and a deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with reactive programming and modern Android architecture, specifically RxJava, Realm, and Jetpack components.
- Strong communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork.
- A passion for building high-quality mobile experiences and a desire to grow your technical skill set.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience or interest in working with TypeScript and Node.js for backend development.
- Background in iOS development using Swift.
- Prior experience with product analytics, A/B testing, or experimentation at scale.

The target salary range for this role is $130,000 to $160,000 per year.
