About the Role
We are looking for a Mid-Level Android Engineer to join our team in a Full Time capacity. This is a Hybrid role where you will work alongside iOS engineers, designers, and product managers to create features from the ground up. You will have the chance to work with the latest Android technologies while contributing to a platform that makes a real impact in the financial sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality code while collaborating with our cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and product managers.
- Utilize modern tools and libraries such as Retrofit, Room, Jetpack, and Espresso to build robust application features.
- Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and bugs while staying current with the latest Android platform trends to improve our development lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience in native Android development.
- Strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
- Hands-on experience with Android Studio, the Android SDK, and integrating RESTful APIs.
- A solid grasp of Android UI/UX principles and version control using Git.
- A proven history of shipping high-quality applications to the Google Play Store.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to participate in the full product lifecycle from ideation to execution.
