Role at a glance

We are seeking a mid-level Android Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to candidates residing in Canada, the UK, or 40 specific U.S. states. You will play a pivotal role in developing our cloud-based law enforcement platform and building entirely new mobile-first products from the ground up.

Your impact

• Take full ownership of mobile product modules, guiding features from initial concept through to final delivery.
• Design and implement robust automated testing environments using Espresso to ensure our applications remain stable and reliable.
• Collaborate closely with our design and product management teams to define technical requirements and translate user needs into high-quality code.

What you'll need

• A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in Android development, specifically using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, ROOM, and Coroutines.
• A solid understanding of RESTful APIs and a proven ability to implement automated testing.
• A self-motivated, humble, and detail-oriented mindset, with a strong desire to own your work from start to finish.
• A genuine interest in the GovTech space and a commitment to building software that helps first responders.
• Must be authorized to work in your country of residence, as we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.

Perks and compensation

The target base annual salary for this position is $135,000 to $155,000, with the higher end of the range reserved for candidates in high-cost labor markets. In addition to your salary, you will receive:
