We are currently expanding our engineering presence in Monterrey, Mexico, and we are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to help us build the future of work. Key outcomes
- Lead mobile product engineering efforts from start to finish to deliver real value to our users.
- Shape our long-term engineering strategy and refine our development workflows.
- Develop rapid prototypes to test new ideas and validate our product hypotheses.

Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in mobile software engineering.
- Expertise in Kotlin, including coroutines and common Android frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and their application to modern Android development.
- A deep understanding of how to write performant, high-quality code.
- Strong grasp of Android UI design principles, best practices, and patterns.
- Proven experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries.
- Proficiency in testing frameworks, including unit, feature, and integration testing.
- Familiarity with development tools such as Git, GitHub, Jira, and CircleCI.
- The ability to work from our Monterrey office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to technical challenges.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working with Java.
- Familiarity with Jetpack components, specifically MVI and Compose.
