The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. You will be a key player in a focused Topic Team, where you will ship features to millions of users while helping us evolve our 10-year-old codebase. This role is about finding the perfect balance between delivering features rapidly and ensuring our technical stack remains modern, modular, and future-proof. You will act as a technical reference for your peers, helping us maintain high standards as we scale our platform internationally.

A day in the life

• You will build and maintain feature modules owned by your team, acting as a guardian of code quality and technical excellence.
• You will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and implement impactful new features.
• You will mentor your fellow engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and active knowledge sharing to help improve our overall architecture and performance practices.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with a strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design. You have extensive experience building top-tier Android applications and are comfortable navigating large, modular codebases. We are looking for someone who is fluent in English and possesses the following skills:

• Expertise in Kotlin, Coroutines, and Jetpack Compose.
• Deep understanding of MVVM architecture and Clean Code principles.
• Experience with dependency injection frameworks like Dagger or Anvil.
• A data-driven mindset with the ability to balance technical trade-offs against product goals.
• Familiarity with Gradle, testing automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
