What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our Magic Team within the Purchase domain. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Lithuania. You will play a vital role in shaping the future of our shipping and purchasing experience by building innovative, scalable solutions for our global community.

What will you do?

• Design and implement high-quality features while modularizing our codebase to improve long-term scalability and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with a diverse, cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and scientists to define the technical vision for the purchase domain.
• Maintain operational excellence by monitoring performance through tools like Kibana, Grafana, and Datadog, and taking ownership of our service objectives.

You are an experienced engineer who thrives in collaborative environments and understands how to balance product goals with technical integrity. To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Deep expertise in Android architecture and application layers, with proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience working with Jetpack Compose and a strong grasp of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• A proactive mindset toward problem-solving, code reviews on GitHub, and a commitment to maintaining high standards through native testing.
• Excellent communication skills in English, allowing you to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
