Role at a glance
We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer III to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, though you are welcome to join us at our office in Madrid if you prefer. You will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards for mobile performance and user experience.
Your impact
- Build and implement innovative features that keep our apps at the top of the market.
- Solve intricate technical challenges involving asynchronous data flows and complex system architecture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Research, Data Science, and Backend teams to deliver a seamless, high-performance experience for our riders and drivers.
What you'll need
- At least 4 years of professional experience in Android development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and a deep understanding of SOLID principles and clean architecture.
- Experience with Git and interacting with REST APIs.
- A track record of publishing apps on the Google Play Store.
- The ability to write robust unit and UI tests to ensure code quality.
- Experience with reactive programming, such as RxKotlin.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English.
