We are looking for a skilled Senior Android Engineer to join our Cash Team and help us shape the future of decentralized applications.

Key outcomes

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, responsive Android applications using Kotlin, the Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose.
• Partner with our product and design teams to translate Figma designs into seamless, engaging mobile features.
• Coordinate with blockchain developers to integrate efficient data querying through GraphQL.
• Implement web3 technologies to enable core blockchain functionalities, such as smart contract interactions, wallet connections, and transaction processing.
• Ensure the highest standards of code quality and application performance throughout the development lifecycle.
• Manage the release process by communicating with Play Store representatives to ensure timely updates.
• Develop robust automated testing suites and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines for both internal and production releases.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Android development, with deep proficiency in Kotlin, Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose.
• Strong experience building mobile applications that interact with backends and databases.
• Solid understanding of development tools and workflows, including Git, CI/CD, and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to communicate complex technical concepts clearly within a team.
• Fluency in English.
• Please note that this role is based in Dubai, UAE. We offer visa sponsorship, and you will be expected to relocate within 1 to 2 months of starting.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience or familiarity with the Ethereum ecosystem and blockchain technology.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL.
• Familiarity with Android-compatible blockchain libraries such as WalletConnect or KEthereum.
