The role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Android Developer to join our engineering team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in either Ajaccio, France, or Coimbra, Portugal. You will work closely with our product and design teams to shape the future of our platform, with opportunities to expand your expertise into other technologies like iOS or Angular if you are up for the challenge.

Core responsibilities

• Develop and implement new features for the core Android engine that powers our platform.
• Translate functional requirements into robust technical specifications and architectural solutions.
• Continuously optimize existing code to enhance performance and improve the overall user experience.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional experience working with the Android SDK.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with a solid working knowledge of Java.
• Experience managing LiveData, Observables, and ViewModels.
• Proven ability to integrate and consume REST APIs.
• High level of proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Familiarity with Scrum methodology is considered a plus.
• A proactive mindset and a collaborative attitude toward team problem-solving.
