We are currently looking for a Lead Android Developer to join our Mobile App Product Team in the Netherlands. In this hybrid role, you will help us build the digital companions that allow our customers to navigate Europe seamlessly.

What you'll be doing

• You will guide our mobile development efforts by setting technical standards, maintaining high code quality, and solving complex architectural challenges.
• You will act as a bridge between our developers, QA engineers, and non-technical stakeholders like designers and product owners to ensure we deliver user-centric features.
• You will collaborate closely with your team to translate customer needs into effective user stories while fostering a culture of shared knowledge and growth.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should be a forward-thinking professional who is passionate about building high-quality native mobile experiences. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Over 7 years of experience in developing and publishing native Android applications to the Play Store.
• Deep proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android architectural patterns like MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Strong experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs, as well as CI/CD tools like Fastlane and version control with Git.
• A solid background in Unit Testing and Test Driven Development, alongside experience with AWS Cloudwatch for performance monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills in English, as this is our primary business language.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse team members.
