Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site role based in our Berlin office, where we value the collaboration and creativity that happens when we work together in person. You will be a key contributor to our mobile engineering efforts, working within a cross-functional team to refine our core Android applications and SDKs.
Your impact
- Take full ownership of features within our Android app, ranging from Bluetooth implementation to user-facing interfaces for our card readers.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define technical roadmaps and build maintainable, high-quality software.
- Contribute to the decision-making process by applying clean code principles and modular architecture to solve complex fintech challenges.
What you'll need
- Extensive experience building complex mobile applications, ideally with a product-focused mindset.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and the Android framework.
- Solid understanding of architectural patterns like MVVM to ensure our app remains scalable and modular.
- A commitment to writing flexible, effective tests and a pragmatic approach to software development.
- Excellent communication skills in English, allowing you to thrive in our global, collaborative environment.
