The opportunity

We are looking for a talented Android Architect to join our team in India on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will be a key player in designing and scaling our mobile solutions, specifically focusing on the Android and Android TV ecosystems. You will help unify our cloud-based architecture, ensuring that we continue to deliver a seamless, high-performance experience to our global user base. This is an ideal position for someone who wants to apply their technical expertise to complex enterprise systems and help us revolutionize the sports broadcasting industry.

A day in the life

• You will lead the design and architecture of native mobile solutions, with a deep focus on Android and Android TV platforms to ensure our streaming services remain top-tier.
• You will collaborate across teams to implement enterprise-grade integrations, utilizing industry-standard design patterns like MVC and MVVM to maintain clean, scalable code.
• You will work closely with web services, external APIs, and live streaming technologies to ensure our infrastructure is resilient enough to handle millions of concurrent viewers.

Who you are

You are a mid-level professional with a strong background in software development and a passion for mobile technology. You communicate effectively in English and bring a collaborative spirit to everything you do. Your qualifications include:

• Solid experience in software development using languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• At least 2 years of experience in architecture or a closely related role, specifically with a focus on solution architecture.
• Hands-on expertise in developing mobile applications and a deep understanding of SOA, REST/JSON, and SOAP/XML.
• Specific knowledge of Android TV libraries and building user interfaces for large-screen devices.
• Familiarity with live streaming or broadcast systems is highly valued, as is experience with AWS services and agile development environments.
