Why we're hiring:
As part of our People Analytics team, you’ll be working closely with the People team, Data & Tech teams as well as other broader functions across our group and operating companies to help support our reporting and data analytics. We are undergoing a large transformation across our People and Finance functions and the People Analytics team has a vast array of projects with touchpoints across multiple functions. We need a project manager to get stuck in and help us deliver projects that have never been done before.
What you'll be doing:
- Liaise with stakeholders at all levels to co-ordinate the creation, build, production and continuous improvement of analytics products
- Manage and scope out projects that span across functions
- Develop, monitor and execute a project plan for each project and communicate progress to key stakeholders
- Drive project success metrics and timelines
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure deliverables and success criteria requirements are documented and met
- Partner with technical teams to identify key tasks and dependencies associated with the project
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies, improve quality, and implement scalable solutions across our agencies
- Identify and proactively handle risks, issues, dependencies, forecast resource demand and prioritization for both new and existing (BAU) products
- Directly manage the day-to-day tasks of our analytics team, assigning tasks and responsibilities to each team member
- Support the development team with hands-on testing and quality assurance of a product aligned with the required quality standards / success criteria
What you'll need:
Minimum requirements for this role include:
- 4+ years' experience in a project management role and utilising both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Experience working with a cross-functional team and the ability to inspire and guide them towards achieving project goals
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate and engage with stakeholders and team members
- Experience with data-driven decision making and problem solving
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Both detail and ‘big picture’ conscious
- The competence, confidence, and self-discipline to manage deadlines, task estimates and prioritisation
- Diligent and attentive to detail, able to listen, learn, and put into practice
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Excel
- Comfortable working through ambiguity, bringing clarity and control into a project environment
- Curiosity to learn!
Additional preferred skills:
- Experience working with data teams (engineers, analysts, reporters, data scientists, etc.)
- Experience operating on agile cross-functional teams
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
