Key outcomes
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for our Enterprise Data Warehouse that directly supports our business priorities.
- Build and maintain scalable data models and pipelines that enable efficient self-service analytics across the organization.
- Strengthen our data governance by refining quality standards, access controls, and tagging frameworks.
- Mentor and coach early-career engineers to cultivate a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
- Enhance the performance and cost-efficiency of our data warehouse infrastructure through rigorous optimization.
- Lead the design and implementation of robust data pipelines while ensuring high system reliability and uptime.
- Bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy by collaborating with cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- Strong background in data modeling, warehouse optimization, and ELT pipeline development.
- Proven experience in a management or leadership capacity, with a focus on mentoring and developing engineering talent.
- Strategic mindset capable of aligning technical architecture with long-term business objectives.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- A commitment to operational excellence, including experience with data governance and quality assurance.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Practical experience with Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, Temporal, and Airflow.
- Familiarity with AWS Quicksight and RDS.
- Proficiency in Python or other high-level programming languages.
- Experience working with GitHub and Git version control.
