What you bring
We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in South Africa. In this role, you will focus on building robust data sources and models that drive operational decision-making and support our marketing stakeholders. You will be instrumental in ensuring our data infrastructure is both reliable and insightful. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and maintaining complex data pipelines while ensuring data integrity and quality.
- Mentoring junior analysts and providing technical leadership on high-complexity projects.
- Visualizing data insights and collaborating with stakeholders to improve performance and return on investment.
Requirements
The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in data engineering, analysis, and business intelligence, typically supported by a quantitative educational or professional history. You should have an advanced command of SQL and Python, along with proficiency in tools such as DBT, Apache Airflow, and APIs. Experience with version control systems and reporting platforms like Tableau is essential. Beyond technical expertise, we value individuals who take ownership of their work, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Fluency in English is required for this position.
