The role

We are seeking a mid-level Analytics Engineer to join our team in HCMC, Vietnam. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will report to the Business Intelligence Manager. You will play a vital role in our success by developing high-impact data products and reporting tools that provide our global customers with actionable insights into their user bases.

Core responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines while implementing robust version control, unit testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reliable metrics, KPI dashboards, and complete data products.
• Establish data quality processes across our systems to identify opportunities for improvement and simplify self-service analytics for our customers.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and a collaborative mindset. We require the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with the modern data stack, specifically Databricks, dbt, GitHub, Airflow, Fivetran, and Power BI.
• Proficiency in extracting and transforming data using SQL, Python, and Spark within AWS environments.
• A solid understanding of agile development cycles and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical thinking and a client-centric approach to problem-solving.
