We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. This role is based in India and operates in a hybrid capacity, requiring you to work from our Hyderabad office two to three days each week. Responsibilities
- You will develop and maintain high-quality SQL transformation scripts to create clean, well-documented data sets for our business users and data scientists.
- You will collaborate closely with product engineering teams to ensure that source data is modeled effectively to meet all downstream requirements.
- You will lead the optimization and adoption of Looker as a primary data product, supporting approximately 1,500 active users in their data discovery efforts.
Requirements
- You possess at least 5 years of professional experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI engineering.
- You have a strong command of SQL and a deep understanding of data warehousing and data modeling principles.
- You are experienced with cloud-based MPP data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- It is beneficial if you have experience with version control, Python for automation, and managing data dependencies.
- You should have a solid background in BI tools, with specific experience in Looker being highly desirable.
