What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in our Hyderabad office, where you will be expected to work on-site two to three days each week. You will report to an Analytics Engineering Manager and play a vital role in empowering our data scientists and business users by providing clean, well-documented, and highly reliable data sets.
What will you do?
- Develop and maintain SQL transformation scripts while guiding data scientists on effective data modelling to create efficient, aggregated datasets.
- Partner with our product engineering teams to ensure that source data is structured to meet all downstream business requirements.
- Lead the optimization and adoption of Looker across the organization, supporting our community of approximately 1,500 active users.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have at least five years of experience in analytics, data, or BI engineering. We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in SQL.
- Strong expertise in data warehousing and data modelling concepts.
- Practical knowledge of cloud-based MPP data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Experience with Looker is highly valued, as is a solid understanding of version control.
- Technical skills in Python, particularly for automation and integrations, are considered a significant plus.
- Fluency in English is required to collaborate effectively with our global team.
