At Settle, we are on a mission to simplify inventory purchasing for small businesses. Since 2019, we have developed a cashflow management platform that helps founders navigate their financial health through flexible financing and accounts payable tools, supporting notable brands like Starface, Ghia, and Italic.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain data integrations across our stack, including Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and various business intelligence tools.
Take ownership of our dbt and Snowflake infrastructure, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using dbt and GitHub.
Partner with internal teams such as product, finance, and operations to build data pipelines and datasets that drive strategic decision-making.
Implement data quality monitoring solutions to ensure metrics remain accurate and trustworthy.
Establish engineering standards, including documentation, testing frameworks, and code reviews.
Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve data governance, discoverability, and overall analytics capabilities.
Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to maintain strict data security and regulatory compliance.

Must-haves

Significant professional experience in analytics or data engineering.
Expertise in SQL, relational database design, and data modeling.
Strong proficiency in Python.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran.
Proven ability to lead data engineering projects.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical partners.
A proactive mindset and a desire to learn new tools and subjects.
Fluency in English.

Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000 to $170,000.
