Analytics Engineer at Calm.com

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. Calm is a leading mental health company dedicated to helping people live more mindfully. Our data science team is central to this mission, as we prioritize solving complex business problems by leveraging data to drive meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data models using dbt to transform raw information into business-ready datasets that support performance analysis.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate complex business requirements into high-performing analytical solutions.
• Manage the development, testing, and documentation of core data models while utilizing tools like BigQuery, Databricks, and Airflow to generate actionable insights.

Requirements

• At least four years of professional experience in data science, data engineering, or analytics engineering.
• Expertise in SQL and a strong background in data modeling for large-scale cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python and experience working with modern data stack tools such as dbt, Databricks, BigQuery, and Airflow.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical data work and non-technical business strategy.
• A pragmatic approach that balances technical rigor with the need for efficient, scalable delivery.

What we offer
