We are shaping the future of financial technology at Trendyol, where we build everything from payment infrastructure and digital wallets to smart credit systems. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will join our team in Turkey to bridge the gap between raw data and actionable business insights by building the pipelines and models that serve as our single source of truth.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable data models and metric layers in partnership with product and engineering teams.
- Transform complex, raw datasets into clean, documented assets that enable self-service analytics for the entire organization.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end development of SQL-based data models to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Act as the product owner for our analytics platform, driving data standardization and leading the development of next-generation tools powered by AI agents and LLMs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align data roadmaps with their specific exploration and analysis needs.
- Develop a deep understanding of the customer journey through the lens of data to influence product improvements.
Must-haves
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field like Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in data warehousing, data modeling, or analytics engineering.
- Expert-level SQL proficiency and hands-on experience with BI tools such as Looker or Tableau.
- Strong grasp of modern data warehousing concepts, including star schemas and slowly changing dimensions.
- Proven ability to apply software engineering best practices, specifically Git and CI/CD workflows.
- An agile mindset and the ability to communicate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluency in English.
