Welcome to Flex. We are currently building a comprehensive finance super app designed specifically for business owners. Our mission is to completely reimagine the financial workflows and services available to entrepreneurs. Since our public launch in September 2023, we have seen our revenue grow more than 25 times, and we are currently on track to reach profitability by the middle of 2025. We focus on serving mid-market businesses that generate between 3 and 100 million dollars in revenue, a segment that has been largely overlooked by traditional fintech solutions and remains reliant on outdated regional banking systems. What you'll be doing
- You will develop and maintain core data models using dbt to support essential business metrics and guarantee data consistency across the organization.
- You will collaborate with various departments to define key business metrics and build the necessary data infrastructure to support them.
- You will empower downstream teams by creating comprehensive documentation and providing the support they need to access and utilize data effectively.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
- At least 5 years of professional experience working with data, specifically focusing on data pipelines.
- Expertise in SQL and deep experience with modern transformation tools like dbt.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines within cloud environments such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI to support self-serve dashboards.
- A strong interest in data quality and the ability to design systems that ensure the accuracy of business metrics.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to work independently alongside executive leadership.
- A humble, highly motivated mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
