What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our team in India on a full-time basis. You will play a pivotal role in our Analytics Platform team, which is dedicated to democratizing data and enabling company-wide experimentation. As a founding member of our data engineering presence in this region, you will have the autonomy to shape our vision and influence our roadmap. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Designing technical architecture and implementing components from the ground up as we transition to event-based analytics.
• Partnering with infrastructure and product engineers to instrument backend services and end-to-end user journeys.
• Developing, monitoring, and scaling cost-efficient data pipelines while establishing best practices for our data engineering efforts.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in engineering and systems design. We are looking for candidates who hold a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. You must be fluent in English and have at least three years of experience working with data pipelines, event instrumentation, and data warehouses. We value candidates who demonstrate expertise in SQL, Python, and data modeling. You should be comfortable with workflow management tools like Airflow or dbt, and have experience with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery. A deep understanding of software design principles, including test-driven development, will be essential as you document solutions and break down complex problems.
