The role

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our data engineering team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping our data infrastructure and ensuring our analytical models are both scalable and reliable. You will be a key contributor to our dbt projects and will help define the standards for how we transform and utilize data across the organization.

Core responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines using modern ELT processes to ensure high-quality data availability.
• Lead the development of analytical models within dbt while providing mentorship and oversight to improve the work of the broader team.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, business stakeholders, and analysts to ensure that our upstream applications produce clean, reliable, and secure data.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and a passion for data architecture. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines within cloud-based environments.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with custom ELT design and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and experience with both batch and streaming design patterns.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, with a preference for Python.
• A solid understanding of DevOps principles and the ability to communicate complex data insights to various stakeholders.
• Familiarity with our core tech stack, including Snowflake, Airflow, Fivetran, and dbt.

Compensation and benefits

We believe in taking care of our people so they can focus on doing their best work. For this position, the base salary range is $100,000 to $130,000 USD, depending on your experience and location. In addition to base pay, we provide a comprehensive benefits package:
