We are looking for a talented Analytics Engineer to join our team and help us build the data infrastructure that powers our growth.
Role at a glance
This is a full-time, senior-level position based on-site in Toronto, Canada. You will be a key member of our data team, focusing on building robust pipelines and modeling the data that helps us make better decisions across every part of our business.
Your impact
- Design, build, and optimize our end-to-end analytics stack, utilizing tools like dbt, Snowflake, and Airflow to ensure our data is clean and accessible.
- Partner closely with our Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance teams to define critical business metrics and create self-serve reporting solutions.
- Establish and maintain high standards for data quality by implementing rigorous testing, observability, and CI/CD practices across our analytics codebase.
What you'll need
- Between 4 and 6 years of professional experience in analytics or data engineering, preferably within a fast-paced startup environment.
- Advanced SQL skills and a deep understanding of how to work with large-scale, complex datasets.
- Proven experience managing production-level data models using dbt.
- Practical knowledge of modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Experience with BI tools like Looker or Tableau to enable self-serve analytics for the wider organization.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to use Python or orchestration tools like Airflow to automate and improve data workflows.
