Kaia is a mission-driven health technology company that began in 2016 when our founders, Konstantin Mehl and Manuel Thurner, sought to provide affordable, accessible relief to those suffering from chronic conditions. Having experienced chronic pain themselves, they were determined to remove the barriers that prevent people from accessing high-quality care. Today, we are a leader in digital therapeutics, utilizing AI-powered algorithms to offer multimodal rehabilitation for back, hip, and knee pain, as well as COPD. With over 500,000 users worldwide and $125 million in funding from partners like Optum Ventures and Balderton Capital, we are scaling our global footprint to make patient empowerment simple and effective.
