ActBlue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building the essential technology and infrastructure that powers Democratic campaigns and progressive causes. We are looking for an Analytics Engineer II to join our remote team and help us provide reliable data and tooling to our users.

Responsibilities

Develop standardized, documented, and reliable datasets for our business users.
Collaborate across the organization to implement new data sources and products.
Enhance the performance and maintainability of our data platform through quality code, testing, monitoring, and documentation.
Foster a people-focused engineering culture while working cross-functionally.
Participate in technical discussions regarding new architecture and solutions.
Act as a champion for a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

Must-haves

2 to 4 years of relevant experience in an engineering or analytics role.
Proficiency in writing readable, performant SQL that adheres to team standards.
Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
A proven ability to write extensible, scalable, and maintainable code.
Strong collaboration skills to resolve ambiguity and prioritize high-impact tasks.
An empathetic and inclusive approach to working in a remote environment.
Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

Experience working with our core stack, including Looker, dbt, Jenkins, GitHub, PagerDuty, Datadog, Fivetran, and AWS.
Familiarity with Redshift or PostgreSQL databases.

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $137,000 to $166,000.
