We are Diamond Foundry, a company dedicated to overcoming thermal limitations in cutting-edge industries like AI, cloud computing, electric vehicles, and wireless technology. We have achieved a major milestone by producing the world's first single-crystal diamond wafers, and we are now working to integrate this technology behind every chip. As a profitable unicorn with 515 million dollars in funding, we are currently executing a massive expansion to turn greenhouse gases into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy. We are looking for an Analytical Chemist to join our expert team of scientists and engineers at our facility in historic Trujillo, Spain.
What you'll be doing
- You will operate gas chromatography instrumentation to analyze gas streams and ensure the quality of our gas supply systems.
- You will perform routine maintenance and necessary repairs to keep our equipment reliable and minimize downtime.
- You will manage production and maintenance documentation, lead continuous improvement projects, and train other personnel on safety and equipment protocols.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or at least three years of direct experience in gas analysis. You must be proficient in both Spanish and English to communicate effectively across our teams. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience operating gas chromatography equipment and a strong understanding of safety practices regarding compressed gases and chemicals. You should be comfortable using MS Office, have excellent documentation skills, and be prepared to travel to the United States for initial training. Because this is an on-site, full-time role in a manufacturing environment, you must be physically capable of tasks such as climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds, and you should be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends, to meet our production goals.
What you'll get
We are committed to supporting your well-being both at work and at home. As part of our team, you will have access to the following benefits:
- Life insurance
- Disability insurance
- Paid time off
