The role
We are seeking a Senior Analyst & Media Relations Director to join us in a full-time, remote capacity. Reporting directly to our Chief Marketing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in elevating our brand presence by nurturing relationships with industry analysts, journalists, and market influencers. This position is ideal for a seasoned communications professional who understands the digital experience platform marketplace and excels at crafting compelling narratives that resonate with key stakeholders.
Core responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with major industry analysts, such as Gartner, Forrester, and IDC, while coordinating briefings, demos, and RFI responses to strengthen our market position.
- Cultivate relationships with key media outlets and journalists, overseeing our PR agency to secure impactful coverage and proactively pitching compelling company stories.
- Monitor industry trends and media coverage to identify opportunities for brand insertion, while tracking campaign metrics to provide actionable insights and quarterly reports to our leadership team.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a deep background in communications and a passion for strategic storytelling. We are looking for candidates who bring the following qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience in communications, specifically within B2B tech organizations with a heavy emphasis on analyst engagement programs.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to seamlessly adopt our brand voice and translate technical information into engaging narratives.
- Strong project management capabilities, allowing you to prioritize multiple initiatives effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
- Proven success in building and managing professional relationships with journalists, analysts, and other industry influencers.
- A Bachelor of Arts degree, preferably with a focus in Marketing or Communications.
