What you'll be doing
- You will develop econometric and time series solutions that provide actionable insights to address specific challenges faced by our public sector customers.
- You will design and implement approaches that blend machine learning with economic theory, focusing on areas like causal inference, climate risk, and spatial economics.
- You will manage the full lifecycle of modeling engagements, from initial design and development to validation, documentation, and the final presentation of results to business leaders.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong quantitative background and a passion for data science. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A degree in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, or Mathematics with a quantitative specialization.
- Between 2 and 5 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in Python and Pyspark for data analysis and modeling.
- Comprehensive knowledge of time series analysis, econometric modeling, and machine learning techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English to effectively collaborate within our cross-functional, interdisciplinary team.
