The role
We are seeking a Senior Algorithmic Trader to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a high-impact position for someone with a background in high-frequency trading, liquidity provision, and cryptocurrency markets. You will enjoy a significant amount of independence as you work to refine our existing trading products and develop your own original algorithmic strategies. You will be an integral part of our trading team, helping to shape the future of our platform's performance and capabilities.
Core responsibilities
- Design and launch new trading products across spot, derivatives, and DeFi markets while continuously optimizing our existing strategies for new environments.
- Leverage our extensive data sets to build advanced analytics, generate automated reports, and translate complex findings into actionable insights for the management team.
- Collaborate with our sales and trading partners to enhance platform liquidity, manage risk, and provide competitive OTC pricing for our clients.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should have at least five years of relevant experience and a strong grasp of market microstructure. We value candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in a data science language, with a strong preference for Python.
- Experience with at least one low-level language such as Go, C++, or Rust.
- A proven track record in trading, risk management, or liquidity provisioning.
- Strong analytical abilities and a product owner mentality that focuses on long-term business results.
- A genuine interest in the evolving crypto and DeFi landscape, including new developments in decentralized exchanges.
