Are you passionate about using technology to bridge the gap in healthcare access? At Trial Library, Inc., we are a venture-backed startup founded in 2022 with a clear mission to improve health equity by expanding access to cancer precision medicine. We believe that inclusive research environments lead to better health outcomes for everyone, and we are looking for dedicated individuals who want to help us disseminate high-quality clinical trial information through creative and intentional innovation.
What you bring
We are looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. You will be instrumental in scaling our AI capabilities to accelerate clinical trial recruitment and improve our existing suite of solutions. Your work will be remote, allowing you to contribute from anywhere.
- Build, train, and deploy sophisticated AI and machine learning models to improve data abstraction and clinical trial matching.
- Conceptualize and prototype new software features and products that enhance our pre-screening and navigation services.
- Design, test, and refine prompts to optimize the performance of large language models when processing complex medical data.
Requirements
The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in artificial intelligence and machine learning, supported by a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field. We value candidates who have at least three years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, specifically with a track record of deploying models into production environments. You should be proficient in natural language processing, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning transformer models like GPT or BERT. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is essential, as is a familiarity with database systems and data pipelines. Because we operate in the healthcare space, a deep respect for privacy and regulatory standards like HIPAA is required. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and who demonstrates high levels of autonomy and ownership over their projects.
What we offer
We are committed to supporting our team members as they do the important work of improving health equity. We offer the following benefits:
