The opportunity

We are seeking a senior AI/ML Engineer to join our team and help us tackle complex challenges. In this role, you will be a key player in our cross-functional data team, working alongside product owners, data scientists, and engineers to build machine learning models that deliver real value to our customers. This is a full-time position based in the United States, and because of the nature of the programs we support, you must be a U.S. citizen. Please note that this role requires an active TS SCI clearance and involves working onsite at Fort Bragg at least three days a week, with up to 25% travel required.

A day in the life

• You will design and build robust machine learning models that integrate seamlessly into our larger data pipelines.
• You will collaborate daily with a diverse group of experts, including DevSecOps engineers and data analysts, to ensure our solutions are scalable and effective.
• You will maintain and optimize our machine learning infrastructure, utilizing frameworks like Apache Spark and Python to process data and drive innovation.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with at least three years of hands-on experience in machine learning and software development. You thrive in environments that require both independent focus and team collaboration, and you have a track record of building and maintaining production-grade machine learning systems. We value candidates who are fast learners and creative thinkers who can communicate complex ideas clearly. You should have strong experience with modern engineering practices, such as Git, Agile, and DevOps. While not required, we love to see portfolios, GitHub repositories, or publications that highlight your technical expertise. Additionally, you will need to obtain your Security+ certification within your first 90 days with us.
