The role

We are looking for a motivated AI/ML Engineer Intern to join our team in Singapore. This is an on-site internship opportunity designed for students or recent graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience with real-world cross-border payment projects. You will work directly with our AI and machine learning experts to build, test, and deploy models that enhance our network efficiency and customer experience.

Core responsibilities

• Assist in the development and deployment of machine learning algorithms, including Generative AI solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to integrate new models into our existing payment systems.
• Support the full lifecycle of model training and optimization to drive operational improvements across our various products.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in computer science or a related field. We value candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in Go considered a significant advantage.
• Practical knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, Tensorflow, or Pytorch.
• Familiarity with Generative AI libraries and APIs, including Hugging Face Transformers and OpenAI.
• Experience with big data frameworks and cloud platforms, particularly AWS, for model deployment.
• A demonstrated ability to manage an end-to-end machine learning project, whether through academic coursework or personal initiatives.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
