AI Technical Lead at DataHub

DataHub serves as the premier AI and Data Context Platform for over 3,000 global enterprises, including organizations like Netflix, Apple, and CVS Health. Our technology is built alongside a vibrant open-source community of more than 13,000 members, providing a metadata graph that offers deep context for AI and data assets. Through our enterprise SaaS offering, DataHub Cloud, we provide managed solutions for observability, discovery, and governance. We are currently looking for an AI Technical Lead to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis in the United States to help our customers bring order to data chaos and maximize the value of their AI investments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development of AI-driven features within our platform, such as automated data classification and sensitive information detection.
• Define and execute our AI infrastructure strategy, including the creation of metadata frameworks for model lineage, provenance, and training data versioning.
• Provide architectural leadership and mentorship to the team while collaborating with product managers and customers to shape the future of our AI roadmap.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in software engineering and a passion for building scalable systems. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, with a minimum of 4 years dedicated to AI or machine learning systems.
• Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with modern ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Deep expertise in MLOps, model monitoring, and the operational aspects of deploying large language models.
• A solid understanding of distributed systems, vector databases, and embedding technologies.
• Proven experience navigating data privacy, security, and governance requirements within an enterprise AI context.
