AI Studio Team Manager at Vonage

We are looking for a Senior AI Studio Team Manager to join us in Israel for a full-time, on-site position. Our team develops the Vonage AI Studio, which is a powerful low-code and no-code platform. This tool allows both developers and non-technical users to design and launch sophisticated virtual assistants and process orchestration workflows that function across various channels like SMS, telephony, WhatsApp, and HTTP. As a leader here, you will take full ownership of the engineering side of this product, guiding a talented group of developers to build scalable, high-quality cloud solutions that adapt to our evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and empower a team of skilled software engineers to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, scalable cloud products.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for the engineering lifecycle, including technical decision-making and product strategy.
• Manage all aspects of your team's operations, which includes hiring, talent development, and aligning engineering efforts with our broader business goals.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of hands-on professional experience in software engineering.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience leading a team of at least 5 engineers.
• Proficiency with modern technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, and Angular.
• Experience working with Mongo, Redis, Kafka, AWS services, and K8S.
• Proven ability to work within agile development environments.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
• A deep technical background with the ability to solve complex problems and a talent for motivating teams to achieve outstanding results.
