About the Opportunity

We are establishing a new AI organization within WOO and are seeking an AI Technologist / Strategist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as a strategic liaison between the AI Technical Product Manager (TPM), AI engineering team, and external entities. Your responsibilities will encompass AI strategy conception, conducting AI trend research across market, industry, and technology landscapes, and formulating strategies in collaboration with the AI TPM and the broader AI engineering team to drive rapid prototyping and handoff to the product team. Additionally, you will shape the AI narrative for fundraising, investor relations (IR), external engagements, and investments, ensuring that WOO’s AI initiatives are effectively communicated and aligned with our business objectives.

You will work closely with the Head of AI, the management team and the Product team to define WOO’s future AI product roadmap, in addition to collaborating with Ecosystem, Business Development, Operations, and the broader engineering entities to drive AI initiatives that aligns with our business objectives.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Serving as the primary strategy liaison between the AI TPM, AI engineering team, and external partners to ensure cohesive AI initiatives.
• Ensuring that all AI initiatives are strategically aligned with WOO’s overarching business objectives through continuous collaboration and strategic oversight. Maintaining comprehensive documentation of AI strategies, research findings, and strategic plans to support transparency and informed decision-making
• Developing and articulating comprehensive AI strategies that align with WOO’s mission and business goals. Working closely with the AI TPM and Head of AI to formulate strategies that drive rapid prototyping and seamless handoff to the product team.
• Conducting in-depth research on AI trends in the market, industry, and technology to inform strategic decision-making and maintain WOO’s competitive edge.
• Crafting and communicating WOO’s AI narrative to support fundraising efforts, investor relations, and external engagements. Representing WOO in external AI-related engagements and investment opportunities, fostering relationships with key stakeholders and partners.

About You

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, tech investment, investment banking or product management, with a strong focus and coverage on AI, Enterprise Software, Blockchain Tech, and Cloud.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive AI trend research and translate findings into actionable strategies and product requirements.
• Experience with direct investment and financial analysis for tech and the crypto industry, including external-facing investor relationship management, and fundraising.
• Strong background in Engineering (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Financial Engineering, Statistics etc.) with prior experiences in software engineering and building actual products /prototypes.

General Expertise:

• Deep understanding of emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and tech stacks.
• Deep coverage on AI applications and emerging business models.
• Well-versed in technical engagements, influencing tech directions, and product development decisions.
• Strong capability in shaping AI narratives, implementation strategies and possess the experience in articulating pilot initiatives from conception to production.

Leadership /Core Skills:

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.Ability to inspire and drive cross-functional teams towards common goals.
• Strategic and hypothesis-driven mindset; comfortable working under extreme ambiguity.
• C-level communication and presentation readiness
• Fluent in verbal and written English.

Crypto and Trading Knowledge (Optional /Good to have):

• Familiarity with the cryptocurrency ecosystem, including DeFi and CeFi platforms is highly desirable.
• Understanding of crypto trading mechanics and the ecosystem is highly desirable.
