About the Role
We are hiring a Senior AI Software Engineer on a full-time basis. In this position you will design and build Python applications that harness large language models and intelligent search to improve how documents are processed and retrieved, while also shaping user interfaces and managing cloud deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Python applications that apply large language models and vector search to strengthen data processing and document retrieval.
- Develop and refine document chunking and embedding techniques that deliver fast, relevant search results.
- Build intuitive front-end interfaces with Angular or Django and oversee reliable deployments using cloud services and tools such as Terraform.
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on experience creating enterprise-grade, scalable Python applications with a record of delivering production-quality software.
- Deep expertise in artificial intelligence, especially large language models and vector search, and the ability to apply these technologies to complex data challenges.
- Proven skill in extracting, chunking, and embedding unstructured data to optimise search performance.
- Working knowledge of Angular or Django for front-end development is an advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and deployment practices is an advantage.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving ability and a creative approach to technical challenges.
- Clear communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and German.
Location
This role is based on-site in Switzerland.
